Accessibility

HIVO IO Technologies Ltd., company no. 517268264 ("HIVO"), is committed to making its public website accessible and usable for people with disabilities and to providing equal access to information about HIVO and its services.

The standard we work to

The HIVO website is built to Israeli Standard 5568 part 1, which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA. This is the standard named in the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Accessibility is built into the site's own code and markup. We do not use an accessibility overlay or toolbar: the regulations require the site itself to conform, and an overlay layered on top of a site can mask problems rather than remove them.

How the site is operated

The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone. Tab moves forward through links, buttons and form fields, Shift+Tab moves back, Enter follows a link or presses a button, and Space toggles a checkbox or opens a collapsed section. Whatever holds focus is shown with a visible outline.

The first Tab on any page reaches a Skip to content link, which jumps past the navigation to the main content.

Pages use standard landmarks and a single, ordered heading structure, so a screen reader can navigate by region or by heading. Questions in our articles are collapsed sections: their answers are present in the page whether or not the section is open.

If you have asked your browser or operating system to reduce motion, the site honours that and suppresses its transitions.

Testing

The site was last reviewed on 1 September 2026 across thirteen public pages, using automated auditing together with manual keyboard testing. No failures remain in the automated checks.

Automated tools cannot verify every requirement. Findings from that review that were corrected include text contrast below the required ratio, a page opening that a screen reader could not read at all, a heading level skipped in the article index, and form fields whose focus indicator did not appear. The last of these was found only by keyboard testing, because no automated tool reports it.

Known accessibility limitations

This statement is written against what we have tested rather than against what we intend, so the following are stated plainly:

• The site is published in English only. A Hebrew version is not yet available.
• Automated testing covers part of the standard. Manual review of every page against every criterion is ongoing rather than complete.
• Content on websites we link to is outside our control, including archived third-party research cited in our articles.

We aim to identify and correct accessibility issues as they are found. If you encounter a specific page, component or document that is not fully accessible, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where reasonably possible, provide an accessible alternative or correction.

Documents and third-party content

Where HIVO publishes downloadable documents or other content through the website, we aim to make such content accessible in accordance with applicable requirements.

Third-party websites and services linked from the HIVO website are controlled by their respective operators. HIVO does not control the accessibility of external websites, but we welcome reports where an external dependency materially affects access to content on our website.

Physical reception

HIVO does not provide public reception for website visitors at a physical location. Business inquiries and accessibility requests may be submitted electronically.
