Forward Deployed Engineer

HIVO is an Israeli enterprise AI company building the operational foundation that connects organizational systems, data, and workflows - enabling people and AI agents to work with shared business context.

We work with established enterprises across infrastructure, logistics, and real estate, with a live product, paying customers, and a growing commercial presence.

We’re looking for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to take HIVO from the first workshop to production inside our customers’ organizations.

Rehovot, Israel
Work Model
Office-based, with regular time on site at customers, and one work-from-home day per week following the initial onboarding period.

The Role

  • Work on site with enterprise customers to understand their operations, systems, and data, and turn them into working HIVO deployments.
  • Connect HIVO to customer systems, including ERP, CRM, document stores, databases, and internal APIs, and model the business data behind them.
  • Build and configure agents, workflows, and workspaces for real business processes, with the right approvals and controls in place.
  • Own deployments end to end: scoping, integration, testing, rollout, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
  • Be the technical voice in front of the customer, leading workshops, demos, and technical discussions with IT, security, and business stakeholders.
  • Bring what you learn in the field back to product and engineering, and help shape what we build next.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in a customer-facing role such as solutions engineering, professional services, or integration.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript, with solid SQL and API experience.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems and data, such as ERP, CRM, databases, and data pipelines.
  • Practical experience building with LLMs and AI agents: prompting, tool calling, retrieval, and evaluation.
  • Confidence working with customers, from engineers to senior executives, and the ability to make complex things simple.
  • Strong ownership, sound judgment, and a bias for shipping.
  • Native-level Hebrew and professional English.

Experience with enterprise security, permissions, and data governance, or with systems such as SAP, Priority, or Salesforce, is a significant advantage.
